Real Life-April 4, 2008
I was in Mobile Alabama attending a seminar on stock market investments, so I decided to invite my son William to join me for the weekend. This would be a great way to spend some quality time with him and expose him to a career in Finance. He gladly accepted the invitation to take the trip, learn about the stock market, visit his Mom and eat some great seafood on the Gulf Coast.
We drove in from two different states, checked into the hotel, had a wonderful dinner and settled in for the night. We enjoyed catching up with each other’s lives since it had been a couple of months since we had seen each other. We were tired from our respective journeys, so we headed to sleep at ten.
I awoke about five o’clock in the morning very disturbed by a dream I had during the night. Over breakfast, I told William about the dream. He listened intensely as he has known all of his life about my vivid prophetic dreams.
My Dream-April 4, 2008
It was a somber scene in the old city of Jerusalem and a horrible smell of death in the air. Everywhere we looked there was thick brownish gray ash on every window, building and stone. It looked a lot like the streets of New Orleans after the flooding of Hurricane Katrina left a thick ash over every tree, house and car. It looked like volcanic ash or nuclear dust covered everything in its path.
Perhaps the scene in Jerusalem was the remains of the city after a nuclear attack that had left death and destruction in its wake.
We were walking along the streets looking down at the Jerusalem stone that paved the way through every road in the old city. We seemed to be walking on a narrow path or alley way of what is known as the Via Dolorosa or the Way of the Cross. It is believed to be the path or the Way that Yeshua took when he carried His Cross through the streets of Jerusalem on His way to be crucified.
As I walked down the Via Dolorosa, I felt that I was not alone. Although I never visibly saw who I was walking with, there seemed to be a powerful presence (The Holy Spirit) walking with me and always off to my right shoulder.
There was no one to be found in the city, the silence was deafening and the scene and smell was death. We walked for blocks and blocks, as I knew that I had been called to the city to meet someone. We walked with purpose and assurance of who we had been called to meet and exactly where they were located in the city.
As we walked farther down the narrow road, we came to a large boulder that had rolled across the alley to block passage to this area. We knew there was no human power that could move that rock, yet we simply put out our hands and touched the rock and it easily moved for us to pass.
We know that should have seemed like an unbelievable event, but it was just a normal part of the Power and Anointing of walking in Jerusalem in that day. As we entered the area protected behind the boulder, we came into a square outside of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where many Christians believe that the Tomb of Christ resides.
As we walked through the square, I looked down at the Jerusalem stones beneath my feet. I was shocked to see that every stone had pieces of people’s bodies melted into the stones. Something so hot and horrific had occurred that people’s bodies had been melted and encased in the stones.
The unusual thing about the encased body parts was that they were ears for hearing, eyes for seeing, hands for touching and noses for smelling. There were parts of hands where the skin was melted away from the cartilage. There were fingers and parts of thousands of the senses of people melted into the stones. There was a stench of death outside of these walls of what many have believed is this Holy Christian Site.
I was horrified and sorrowed by what I saw and yet, I was not surprised as I knew of the event that caused this atrocity.
As we walked slowly across the square, there was a lady who came from behind the stone column and solemnly greeted us. She said, “Thank you for coming, they have been waiting for you”. “Our Director will be here shortly and then we will go in to meet the Remnant that is waiting”.
We slowly turned to the left and looked at the gate where a lady was approaching us. As she got closer, we could see that she too had been a victim of this war. Her face was burned and scarred and the left side of her face had been melted off. Her nose had the skin burned off exposing the splintered cartilage on her nose. The skin on her hands were burned away showing her cartilage and bones.
She was a very dedicated, strong and determined Jewish woman. She was committed to her purpose and calling to continue in her quest for truth of Messiah. Despite her wounds, she did not appear to feel any pain. She was joyful and eagerly seeking the message of Yeshua as her Messiah. They had all been waiting so very long to hear this Good News. Regardless of the obstacles and suffering this Remnant had endured, they had survived. They were now ready for Great Healing, (physical, spiritual and emotional healing), to come upon their people, their Holy City Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.
The lady who was the director of this assembly said, “Thank you for coming so quickly, we have prayed earnestly that someone would hear our cry”. She said, “They are waiting inside now”. We nodded in acknowledgement and followed her a few steps around the corner into a makeshift “Tent of Meeting”. Here in this anointed place, there was a Remnant waiting for the Words of Yeshua to be brought to them.
There was a gigantic Prayer Shawl or Tallit tied to the four corners of the Via Dolorosa, (In Latin meaning: the Way of Grief or the Way of Suffering) making an anointed covering and protection over the Remnant waiting inside.
Together, we slowly turned the corner and went inside “The Tent of Meeting”, to share the Words of Yeshua with those of the Remnant who were waiting. For today, The Remnant of The House of Israel would meet their Messiah Face to Face!
End of my dream!
Back to Real Life!
I shared the dream with William over breakfast that morning. He was surprised by the intensity, vivid pictures and smells that I described to him. We sat in the session for a few hours, but I had a hard time shaking off the dream. Around noon, William said, Mom, “It would be fine with me if we had some lunch and went to the Exploreum next door to see the Human Body Exhibit instead of coming back for the afternoon session.
I agreed with him and we headed out for lunch. I asked William over lunch what the “Our Body-The Universe Within”, was all about. He said that he thought it was an IMAX presentation of the Human Body. I said, “Well, O.K, let’s head over there now”.
As we walked into the Exploreum, I immediately was overcome by this strange feeling. It was the smell of death in the air. The hair stood up on my arms, although I didn’t understand what I had just walked into.
We paid for our tickets and the lady motioned to begin the tour of the exhibit. I said, “I thought this was an IMAX movie?” She said, “No, this is an exhibit”. I walked to the first station to view the exhibit and I was stunned by the body parts on display. A lady walked up to the side of me and said, “You know that this is controversial”. I said, “What is?” She said, “The bodies of the Chinese people who were dissected for this exhibit”. I looked at her in horror! She said to me, “Didn’t you know, these are real people”.
I was speechless, feeling ill and horrified at what was before me. William and I walked slowly through the exhibit. With every station that we approached, I saw the body parts with the cartilage exposed and the skin peeled back from the hands, feet, nose and fingers. I could see horror on the faces of those walking through the exhibit at the lives that were destroyed and dissected in front of us. I asked Yahweh, “Who could do something so horrible to these people?”
The words that came to me were, “The Butchers from the East”!
I could not take any more of this stench of death and the display of melted body parts and I could not help but reflect on my dream early this morning. It was the same scene of body parts (senses) that were melted and encased into the stone. It was the same smell of death that was in my dream!
I became weak at the thoughts of how horrific this real life atrocity was, both in the museum and from the intensity of my dream just hours earlier. My son could tell that I was getting weak and pale, so he came up beside me and said, “Mom, Let me get you out of here”. I gladly walked out of this horrific place leaning on my son for support. We were both speechless at what we had just witnessed.
I believe that my unplanned visit to this Human Body Exhibit was a confirmation that my dream last night was from Yahweh. I also believe that my son’s presence to hear about the dream and also see the exhibit was a witness of this prophetic dream from Yahweh.
I do not know whether this is an actual nuclear attack upon Israel and the City of Jerusalem. This could be a type and shadow of a spiritual event or condition of some of the Israeli people and Yahweh revealing His Son Yeshua to them following this event. I do however believe that whatever horrific event that happens in the days ahead, that the senses of the Israeli people who have been blinded for thousands of years to see Yeshua as Messiah will finally be awakened after this tragic history changing event. The House of Israel will finally, once again, meet their Messiah Face to Face. Shalom, Shalom!
